Are You Enjoying God and the Season You're In?

DISCUSS & ENGAGE THE SCRIPTURES

Access our Bible App event with Scriptures and message notes from the weekend.

1. Read Ecclesiastes 3:1. A season is a God-ordained, set time with divine purpose. As you reflect on where you are right now, how does God seem to be answering these questions?

- God, what season am I in?

- God, what is this season for?

- God, how do I arrange my life around You in this season?

And as you reflect on those answers, how is it different from your perspective of the season you're in?

2. Read 1 Corinthians 7:17. God has assigned each of us a particular season. Where do you sense God inviting you to become more aware of Him in this season?

3. Read Luke 12:54-56. Here, Jesus warns us about missing the bigger picture of what God is doing. What part of your current season are you fighting against or wishing were different? What would it look like to receive it instead of resisting it?

PRAY

May we enjoy God and the season we’re in.

PRACTICE PLAN

We're more than halfway through our summer practice plan of celebration – simply paying attention and calling attention to the goodness of God. As you reflect on how you've been enjoying Him and the life He's giving you, what is He showing you about your current season?
