Beholding Jesus (Easter 2026)

DISCUSS & ENGAGE THE SCRIPTURES

Access our Bible App event with Scriptures and message notes from the weekend.

1. Last week, we prayed for the people we were inviting. What stories do you have from Easter, and what did God do in the lives of the people you invited, whether they came or not?

2. Of the seven statements of the cross spoken by Jesus, which was most impactful to you as you reflected on it? Why?

- “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)

- “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”(Luke 23:43)

- “Dear woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” (John 19:26-27)

- “I am thirsty.” (John 19:28)

- “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Mark 15:34)

- “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” (Luke 23:46)

- “It is finished.” (John 19:30)

3. Moments with Jesus are meant to lead to movement. As you behold Jesus, how is God inviting you to move forward with Him?
