God's Working

60 Days of Unfamiliar Promises

God’s Working

COMMUNICATOR

Dawson Shields, Denton Campus Student Director

DISCUSS & ENGAGE THE SCRIPTURES

1. How have you been claiming, declaring, and walking out God’s promises?

2. Read Romans 8:28-29. Take a moment and consider your life’s circumstances, whether you are in a storm, coming out of a storm, or if there may be one on the horizon.

  • If this promise is hard to believe, what’s it costing you?
  • If you take a step back, how do you see God working in your life? (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
  • How is God shaping your character to be more like Him? (Genesis 50:20)

3. How do you think your life would be different if you believed in this promise and applied it to your daily circumstances going forward?

PRAY

God, thank You for Your promises that are “yes” and “amen” in Jesus’ name. May we believe You are working things together for our good, and shaping us to be more like You.
