2. A next step is any belief or behavior that moves you forward on your journey with Jesus. Describe the last next step God asked you to take and how you’ve responded.

• Compare and contrast these two passages which describe taking next steps you want to take versus God’s next steps for you. Which passage best describes how you’ve been living your life and what is God’s invitation to you?
  

God, help us follow you as our good shepherd from where we are to where you’re inviting us to go. Give us courage one next step at a time.
