Take the first 5-7 minutes to get to know each other, each other's family, and how long you've been coming to Valley Creek.

1. A video from Pastor John went out to everyone in a Circle this week. If you haven't watched it as a group yet, consider pulling it up together before you dig in, you can access it here.

What would it look like for us to focus on relationships and discipleship this semester, and who else can you invite into this Circle?

2. A prophetic word is a specific word from God that creates the future with Him. As God's been speaking to you lately, what is He saying?

3. Read Luke 10:38-42. Martha was busy serving, but Mary chose to sit and listen. Where do you see yourself in this story right now and what is God trying to show you through it?

4. Read Acts 3:19. Our hearts are the one thing hard enough to resist the voice of God. As He speaks, we have an opportunity to align and advance our life with Him. But we often want the breakthrough without the breaking. So with grace and humility let's create space for confession and repentance. What's a hard place in your heart God's inviting you to submit and surrender – a place where you want His word, spirit and life, to pierce and soften?

5. Read 1 Corinthians 14:24-25. We're invited to grow as people of love through engaging the Word of God, connecting with the people of God, cultivating our secret place, and stepping out in faith. Which of those is God inviting you to lean into this semester?

We’re setting aside August 31–September 6 for a week of prayer and fasting, as we align our lives with God’s voice and lean into the prophetic reset He wants to do in this season. Fasting is simply giving up food so we can feast on God. You can find resources on fasting here.

Jesus, give us the grace and humility to align our lives with what You are speaking.
