God, turn our hearts to You! We can't turn our own hearts back to God, but we can cry out and ask Him for an awakening. This course is designed to partner with a week of prayer and fasting. Prayer is simply a conversation with God. Fasting is when we choose to give up food in our lives to create a hunger and desperation for God. When we pray and fast, we create space to have a sensitivity toward God as we break the dependence we have upon our flesh and the things of this world and depend instead on Him. As you go through this course, take one lesson per day to read, meditate, and respond to God.

Awakening Experience

READ God's Word defines what is good, what is true, and what is right in a world full of lies. MEDITATE All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) RESPOND​ Take some time to read through Psalm 119. Then, ask God to awaken you to His Word. Ask Him to give you a love for it, a desire to engage it, a hunger for it, and an insight into it. Pray, God, awaken me to Your Word – help me hear Your voice.
