Rest from school, sports, rehearsals, testing, relationships, etc. sounds really good right? A lot of us are in the mindset that if we can just make it to the next vacation we can get some rest. Jesus says, come to me and I will give you rest. He doesn’t say do a bunch of things and then get rest. He doesn’t say try harder, do more, and then I’ll give you rest. He says, if you are weary and you’ve got burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.
