The Bible teaches that when we don’t give thanks, it darkens our mind and confuses our thoughts; we literally can’t see things for what they truly are. Yet when we present our requests to God by prayer, petition, and with thanksgiving, it says the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Jesus.
In this session, we learn that prayer and gratitude are an essential part of God’s solution to dealing with mental health challenges. When we choose to thank God for who He is and what He’s doing, our gratitude becomes a weapon that enables us to walk in victory over our circumstances and struggles.
